Avery and I had our own special Mother's Day outing on Sunday. He was bursting with energy (as usual), so we went to Gus Fruh Pool at the Greenbelt on Barton Creek. We walked down to the creek and he was so excited about the water that I let him ditch his clothes and play in it. We met another nice family, and they took our picture standing in the creek. That baby boy loves the water and being outside so very much. I can't think of a better way to spend Mother's Day.
